From the monthly archives: August 2011
Timothy and I are in Lafayette today and I’m blogging from Starbucks. I’m in the city, but the people next to me are talking about soybeans, corn, and tobacco plants.
Am I doomed to never get away from the corn?? They are a couple who are motorcycling across Indiana. Well, I take that back. I’m not sure about the couple part. At first I thought it was a father and daughter. Then I thought it was a teacher and student. And now I’m thinking they are dating. Yuck.
Full on leather studded jackets and everything. They even have speakers in their helmets so they can talk about all the corn and the correct ways to pronounce Lebanon. (The city, not the country. Apparently people around here don’t know the “correct” way to say anything. Must be all the tobacco plants affecting their brains. According to the father/teacher/husband man.)
Now they’re standing up and zipping up all their leather. Time to hit the road.
Clearly Timothy and I are missing out on some of the finer experiences in life.

The last day of the 30 day photo challenge – I can’t believe it’s over! For the last picture, I had to include my favorite human speeding down the road.

I was about to type that I could look at this picture for the rest of my life, but then I remembered that I can look at the real thing for the rest of my life. How did I get so blessed?

Today’s day 29 of the photo challenge! I’m pretty excited that I was able to stick with it for a whole month. Well, to be honest, I wanted to give up once because I had no idea what picture to take for that day’s challenge. But Timothy was flabbergasted that I would even consider not following through. Ha! He’s a good blog husband.
Today’s challenge was “purchased.” The last purchase we made recently was Rio, a cartoon movie about these really cute birds. And if that fact makes you think we need to grow up, just take a gander at our little blu ray collection.
Cartoons are our fave.
My favorite modern animated movie would have to be Megamind. Seriously the best movie ever. What are your favorite animated movies?

Fall’s coming and the knitting bug has bit. I keep a little knitting project in my purse at all times. Just to be prepared. My favorite activity is any activity I can do while knitting. And for some reason that makes me think of Dwight Schrute from The Office.
