I mean, I could go on for days about how perfect this picture is.

Timothy with his Indian grandparents – Diwan and Simeercole Gothra
My husband’s cute little five-year-old face? His haircut that closely resembles a mullet? His little legs that look like he’s ready to jet? The death grip his grandma has on his arm so he’ll stay still? How regal his grandpa looks?
Since we started dating I’ve called Timothy my Superman. He even wrote and acted out an elaborate Superman play with his friends when he asked me to marry him.
Have you seen two cheesier smiles? Ha! There was also a treasure hunt where we spent forty-five minutes trying to find the treasure that he *actually* lost. But that’s another story.
Moving on.
I think this picture just captures the feel and spirit of that time perfectly. From what I’ve heard, Timothy was a hyperactive, charismatic, fast, and loud little boy.
Part of me is praying for a hyper little Superman someday, and the other part is praying for my future poor nerves.
I foresee a lot of death grips on flailing little arms in our future.
