Goodwill Stalking
This weekend Timothy and I did some stalking! But not the creepy kind. The fun but often smelly kind.
Let me just say, my man rocks out at Goodwill. He can spot the coolest things. Pretty much 80% of what we brought home were items he spotted.
Here are a few of our spoils:
Success!!!
Can you tell we’re (and by “we,” I most definitely mean “I”) on a drinkware kick? Yeah, drinkware is a word.
Timothy spotted these beauties. The stripes are the perfect colors for our kitchen. And who wouldn’t fall for that little cup carrying case thing? It makes me want to go on a picnic and just swing these glasses around.
And when Timothy showed me these glasses, I died. They are little miniature ones. You could probably take about five sips out of them, but looks trump function, right? Right.
I love this old phone! It’s going to go somewhere in our kitchen. And a plus was that the shop owner gave us a discount on this phone because he wasn’t sure if it worked or not. I didn’t bother telling him that it would be for looks only. I’m a proud owner of an iPhone. Now with a cute case. Plus I live in the 21st century. I wouldn’t even know how to dial this thing!
I actually squealed with delight when Timothy found this thing. You may wonder, “What was Whitney actually doing while at these stores?”
The answer: FINDING THIS BEAUTY!
It’s a leather suitcase. A dusty leather suitcase in need of some love. A red dusty leather suitcase in need of some love. A red dusty leather suitcase with a buckle in need of some love.
Who could say no to that? Not I said the suitcase-obsessed one.
We found the suitcase and the little green cups (along with a couple other finds) at our closest Goodwill. The other stuff came from a hidden gem. It’s a store in our tiny little town that is *never* open. As in, my family has lived here five years and never seen it open. Crazy. Wanna see it?
Oh my.
Do you hear the angels singing? Cause I do.
So what about you guys? Found any thrift store gems lately? Please tell!
~Whitney

I LOVE the glasses & carrying case! SO CUTE!! I also have a whole bunch of the cute green glasses… get this, they also have matching plates that you hold and the glasses sit in a little indentation!! I can’t wait to have a ladies get together at my house so we can use them!! (My Mom just brought them to me!!)
Oh, sweet! I may have to go back to the Goodwill and see if those plates are hiding anywhere. ;) Thanks for the tip! And those cups would be perfect for a ladies thing … my husband would get really annoyed drinking out of them. Ha!
I would love to see the wall behind the red suitcase. Are those frames? Show pics and tell us how you did it!
Oooo, thank you! It’s a headboard that my dad and I made. I’ll make a post asap about it!
Hey Whitney….I seen those cute green glasses, I actually have the taller glasses to that set and also the pitcher too!! If you are interested in them, let me know, I will gladly give them to you, I am changing decor and I want to give them to a good home, they too were a goodwill find….let me know I will send them your way!!
