Nyquil, Friends, and Arm Candy
I have been sick in bed since Monday. Yucky, yucky, yucky.
It’s Friday evening and all my friends are at Winter Youth Convention, including my husband. But don’t feel sorry for me.
Unless you want to. I like sympathy. And get well flowers. And handwritten get well letters. And new shoes.
My mom stayed home from the convention to take care of me. She invited me over to their house, made me a comfy spot in the bed, gave me the remote, fixed me delicious food, and brought me drugs. (The Nyquil kind, not the illegal kind.) Being sick has never felt so good!
On a side note, if you saw my husband tonight at the service, don’t dwell on his outfit. As he was packing (and being so sweet and fretting over me) he kindly informed me that he was packing the outfit I detest. That one suit/tie/shirt combo that kills me everytime. he. wears. it.
I guess since I wasn’t able to be his arm candy for the night, he was entitled to wear his favorite outfit. Hopefully most people were too distracted by his charming good looks to notice his clothing.
To all my friends I didn’t get to see, I love and miss you dreadfully. And to all my readers, thank you so much for taking the time to read this thing! Timothy installed some kind of analytics on here, and this week my blog has averaged 60 views a day! Who are you people reading this?! I didn’t know I knew 60 people who were interested in my ramblings. Ha!
But thank you from the bottom of my heart. This blogging thing is fun. And so is this Nyquil thing. I’m currently watching Friends re-runs, enjoying the glory of a heated blanket, and watching as all the text on my computer screen gets blurry. That probably means it’s time to sign off before I say anything too weird.
And speaking of weird, I’ve become obsessed with nurseries lately. Is this picture not gorgeous? Found here at Ohdeedoh.
Have a glorious weekend!
~Whitney

It has been a few days since I read your blog! So sorry you have been sick…..If I would have known I could have brought you SHOES…lol well maybe sent you a picture of very cool shoes. Glad you are feeling better!! Love you lots and lots more!!
Hahaha! The picture would have certainly brightened my day! Love you, my favorite Peggy. :)
Glad your feeling better darling! Oh and FYI, I ended up wearing something different at conference, something that I believe would have met your approval, haha!
Oh and um, nurseries?? haha :)
Aaaah, I’m glad to hear it. Are you just saving it for a service that I can attend though?! I’m on to you and your ways!
Oh and um, yeah. Sorry about that.
I enjoy your blog greatly!! keep up the good work. On another note love the pic of the nursery!!! Are you getting baby fever? lol
Oh dear, no baby fever yet! I just think they’re adorable!!! :)
Is the baby in the photo real or just for decoration?? Because you could totally do a nursery with a fake baby since you like nurserys so much :)
Hahaha!!! Creepy!
