MY HUSBAND JUST GOT ME AN IPHONE!!!!!

Yeah, I just couldn’t hold it in!  I can’t believe he did it!  He was very sneaky.

Last night we had a music practice and he slipped it in my purse without me knowing it.  Then, he and his friend/business partner (that’s cool to say) were kind of watching me to see if I would find it after the practice.  I knew they were in a meeting talking about Timothy’s company, so I thought it was weird that they were watching me.  They were doing the whole looking-looking away-giggling thing.  Well, I’m pretty sure they were giggling.

So I caught them twice doing that little charade and afterwards I confronted Timothy.  ”Were you guys making fun of me?!”  He was like, “No, no, no.  We were just talking about Vuew Originals.”

That seemed suspicious to me, because they wouldn’t be talking about anything that involved me.  So, like any crazy girl, I was pretty sure they were making fun of me.  I mean, in the last song we practiced that night, I was messing up alllll over the place.

Timothy saw that I didn’t believe him, so he said “We were hoping you would check your purse!”

Hmmmm.  So I went to my purse and looked inside.  FYI: it’s one of those huge-o carry everything but the kitchen sink type of purses.  And I saw nothing.  ”Check the side of the purse!”  I pulled out a pair of gloves.  ”Check the other side!”  I pulled out some yarn and a half-finished knitting project.  ”Keep looking!”

And there, under all the yarn, was a brand new shiny iPhone.

Doesn’t it make you drool?  Little did I know, he had been saving some money he had been making from websites and stuff.  I didn’t even know about the money!  (A part of me wanted to say, where was this money when we were eating cereal for dinner last week?!  But then I looked at my iPhone and closed my lips.)

He ordered the phone and sneaked off to Louisville to pick it up at the closest Apple store yesterday.  He said that he couldn’t wait to give it to me until Valentines Day.  Mainly because if he gave it to me then, I wouldn’t pay any attention to him the rest of the day.  Ha!

So needless to say, I’m pumped.  Super pumped.  Ecstatic.  I didn’t go to bed until 3 last night because I was too excited.  There will be no “Friday’s Favorite Five” today.  Just me, playing with my new phone until my thumbs fall off.
